Decide what programs should start when you on your system

If you want any program to run when you start the system put it in startup.
How to put?
1) Create a batch file(eg test.bat)
2) Write list of  programs you want to start when you up your system say
start d:\
start http://gmail.com
3) Place the test.bat file in following path
C:\Documents and Settings\subin_s\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
This will open D drive and Gmail when you start your system.
