Now we shall see how each Firefox add-on contribute to our target.
1. ChromiFox Extreme Firefox add-on:
This Firefox add-on changes Firefox’s default color to Google chrome’s blue color. Tab appearance is changed similar to Google chrome. When you install this Firefox add-on, it installs Chromifox Companion Firefox add-on which is useful to configure appearance of your Firefox browser. After installing Chromifox your Firefox add-on should look like this one below.
To hide the search bar, go to ‘View’ in menu bar, then ‘Toolbars’ then ‘Customize’. Now customize window opens. Just drag the search bar inside the window and press ‘Done’. Now the search bar is gone
2. Location Bar2 Firefox add on:
Highlights the original domain in the url, which clearly separates root domain from others. Now your Firefox should look like the one below.
3. Tabs on top:
This Firefox add-on just place the tab bar above the location bar. At this stage your browser will look somewhat like Google Chrome except status bar at the bottom and the title bar at the top.
4. AutoHide status bar:
This hides the status bar when the browser is idle. You can see the status bar when you hover over the link or when the page is loading.
5. Hide Caption Titlebar Plus (Smart):
This Firefox add-on Hides the title bar, thus getting more screen space which is obviously one of the plus points in Google chrome.
After installing all these Firefox add ons, just compare your Firefox browser with Google Chrome. You will find very less difference between those two
